Alisa Chumachenko is the leading female Russian expert in online and social gaming. She is the founder and previous CEO of Game Insights.
Chumachenko graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Art in 2004 with a degree in Art Direction. After graduation she worked at IT Territory, a developer and publisher of Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG), first as Creative Director and later as the VP of Business Development. She then served as VP of Marketing at Astrum Online Entertainment, the largest online game publisher in Russia with over 30 million users. When Astrum Online merged with Mail.Ru Group, Chumachenko left to focus on social game creation by founding Game Insights in 2010, a global mobile game developer with more than 250 million players across the world.
Global Insights creates free-to-play games for Android, iOS, Facebook, and web. The company has generated more than 250 million users in more than 200 countries and $171 million in revenue with hit games such as Mystery Manor, The Tribez, and Airport City each bringing in over $35 million.
Game Insights is headquartered in Lithuania, but has offices in San Francisco, Japan, Korea and South America to better understand fast growing markets, local business development, branding and PR.
Chumachenko received the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year 2012” award in the High-Growth Business category. Forbes also named her “Manager of the Year 2012.”

Personal interests can lead to a fulfilling career. Chumachenko went to theatre school, but started her career in gaming after meeting her first employer through an MMOG they both played. Her passion for casual and mobile games led to Game Insights' creation and success.
Flexibility in the market is crucial. After launching Paradise Island for iPhone and web, Chumachenko created a version for the Android platform, even though they did not allow in-app purchases. When Google announced the launch of a payment app in 2011, Game Insights made nearly $2 million in the first two months because they were ready while other developers had to catch up.
