Chase Adam, co-founder of San Francisco website Watsi.org, has worked in intelligence, at a Haitian health program, the Peace Corps, and traveled to more than 20 countries before he turned 20 years old. He studied abroad in Chile and Barbados. He was with the Peace Corps for 2 ½ years.

Chase formed Watsi with a team of ten and no revenue. The group is focused on donations and allowing 100% of the money raised to go to the intended recipient. His mission is to build a strong network with venture capitalists and donations going to those needing medical treatment.

At the Watsi site, there are photos and profiles of hundreds of people who need medical help. The donors can direct where they want their funds to go. His goal is for the website to outgrow him.
