Brian Volk-Weiss is a producer and the founder of Comedy Dynamics, the largest producer and distributor of one-hour comedy specials in the United States. Considered a comedic visionary, Volk-Weiss launched Comedy Dynamics in 2008 and has used the award-winning brand to bring people a wide range of acts, including Kevin Hart, Aziz Ansari, and more. Prior to founding Comedy Dynamics, Volk-Weiss held numerous positions at New Wave Entertainment, including head of production, VP of talent management, and eventually president of production, a role he still has today.
Comedy Dynamics licenses a wide range of comedy specials to networks such as HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Hulu, and more. Some of the TV shows Volk-Weiss oversees include Join or Die with Craig Ferguson, There’s...Johnny, and Animal Planet’s Animal Nation. He has produced several comedy albums, including for Craig Ferguson and Bob Saget. In 2016 three of the five albums up for a comedy record were produced by Volk-Weiss, including winner Louis C.K.
